International Travel Plans
About International Travel Plans
In MOST cases, Original Medicare (Parts A & B) does not provide coverage while traveling internationally, and the same is true for Medicare Advantage Plans.
However, the most common Medicare Supplement Plans (F, G, N) do provide a minimal level of medical coverage for international travel emergencies. These plans have a $250 annual deductible for international coverage, and will pay 80% of billed charges after the deductible has been met, up to a lifetime maximum benefit of $50,000.
