Medicare Supplement Plans are federally regulated, which means that coverage (Plan F, Plan G, Plan N…) is identical among all carriers. Doctors who participate with Medicare are required to accept payment from all Medicare Supplement carriers. We generally recommend choosing the lowest premium for the Plan (Plan F, Plan G, Plan N) of your preference, among A-rated carriers. Historical increases are not an indicator of future increases.
Why is one carrier’s Medicare Supplement premium lower or higher than another carrier? Medicare Supplement carriers are private businesses. They each have different expense and revenue streams; they have different claims costs, advertising expenses, administrative expenses, profit margins, etc. The carriers uses these factors to determine the pricing of their Medicare Supplements.
Medical underwriting is required when pursuing a new Medicare Supplement (the carrier that you’re submitting your application with can decline your application). You’re a good candidate to be approved for a new Medicare Supplement if you can say “no” to these underwriting questions. If you can say “no” to the underwriting questions, we can submit your application any time of year!
If you’ve had a recent Medicare Supplement increase that seems high, you’re likely right, it is high (when compared to years ago), but for now (as of 7/2026), this is the norm. If you can say no to the underwriting questions and you’d like to explore lower premiums, please provide your information in our form below, and we will reach out with a recommendation.
Our services are free (carriers pay us when we enroll clients in plans). We help people lower their Medicare Supplement premium all day every day, and it’s a simple process that we love to help with (it feels great to help people save money for identical coverage).

Adam and Allison Lubenow are the nicest, sweetest, patient, kind and professional people I’ve ever had the pleasure to talk to.
They were easy to talk to, they were very genuine in their concern to help me get what I needed for coverage that was within my means and would cause me less anxiety.
They were very good listeners; they took whatever time that was necessary to answer questions that i may had. I love the fact they were willing to have me to call them, at any time, if I need more information or didn’t understand something.
They were an answer to my prayers, because i didn’t want to give up my “F” supplement plan and they were able get me coverage that would continue to keep me in the plan that i love.
The industry will be better if they had people like Adam and Allison.
Thanks Adam and Allison!!

Unsolicited, the staff reached out to me to let me know of an equivalent medical insurance plan that would save our family over $1100 per year! What diligence!

Thank you for your help in finding less expensive supplemental insurance. It was a pleasure to work with you!
Your current coverage is with Medicare, and your doctors are participating with Medicare, not a private carrier (Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna…). Supplement coverage among all carriers is identical, and your doctor will continue to see you because you have Medicare, not private insurance. If approved, your coverage would be identical to what you have today.
Nothing happens if your application is declined; your current coverage is not impacted in any way, and your current carrier is not informed that you’ve submitted for a lower premium.
Carriers come to market with lower premiums for qualified individuals. Each carrier manages their business individually, and determines their own pricing.
There is no catch, and there is no downside to pursuing this. The reason that you may be eligible for a lower premium is because the new carrier can chose whether or not to accept your application and issue you a policy. When we submit your application they will evaluate your medical history prior to approval. This is one of the reasons that the carrier can offer a lower premium (they are minimizing their risk).
When enrolling in a Medicare Supplement Plan within 6 months of your Part B effective date, Medical Underwriting is not required.
Our clients have had these same results with all of the A-rated carriers that we’ve recommended and enrolled them with. If you receive a Medicare approved service, the carrier is federally required to pay their portion.
Changing Medicare Supplement Plans will not reset your Part B deductible, whether you have paid your Part B deductible, or your previous Plan F Medicare Supplement has paid your deductible. If your Part B deductible has already been paid for the current year, you will not be responsible for your Part B deductible until the following year.
